Carolina






A variety of medium-grain white rice, of Greek origin, from crops grown mainly in the regions of Serres and Thessaloniki. Each grain is rich in amylose and, for this reason, is recommended for preparing excellent risotto dishes. It is also ideal for making gemista (stuffed vegetables), yuvarlakia (a traditional Greek rice-meatball dish) and dolmades (stuffed cabbage or grape leaves).
