Today, government bodies and food inspection authorities have high standards and certifications for companies belonging to the food and beverage manufacturing and sales industry. Our company, a leader in its field, carries out rigorous inspections of the premises of our production unit and of our products and has the following internationally recognised certificates:

ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System Certificate for Processing and Standardisation of Rice and Legume products: This is an International Standard that specifies the requirements for a system of food safety management, so that organizations in the food chain can demonstrate their ability to control hazards and ensure food safety. It was issued in 2005 by the International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) and incorporates HACCP requirements, prerequisite programs (PRPs and OPRPs), the requirements of the legislation currently in force, as well as the general principles pertaining to management systems.
The major benefits the company derives from this certification include: documentation of compliance with the relevant national and EU legislation, conformity with commonly accepted food manufacturing practices, reduced failures, identification of erroneous practices, preparedness on the part of the company to deal with food crises, a sense of security on the part of the consumer as regards the company’s products, continuous improvement of the company and its competitive advantage in the market.

International Food Standard Certificate – Higher Level 6th version in the Selection, Processing, and Standardisation of rice and legume products: The IFS is a private standard of the German Retail Federation (HDE) and the French Federation of Trade and Distribution Companies (FCD), in line with the requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
The IFS requires companies to comply with the relevant legislation pertaining to foodstuffs. Certified companies, in addition to strengthening customer reliability, also enjoy the approval of the French and German retailers’ associations, and more recently that of their Italian counterpart (ticket to trade). Furthermore, a reduction in inspections on the part of their clients is achieved, as the latter have access to all the data resulting from the inspections carried out by the certifying body.

Finally, it should be noted that all major retail chains with which we collaborate, and which we supply with private label products, as well as the various government bodies, such as EFET [Hellenic Food Authority], carry out regular audits of our company’s manufacturing process, traceability, and compliance with hygiene and quality assurance regulations. To date, all the above audits have been carried out with complete success, and have set a high standard for quality, which we work towards daily, fully committed and with a strategy.
